Recent power outage in Spain leaves key lessons for data centres
The massive blackout that affected a large part of the Iberian Peninsula demonstrated the importance of truly reliable back-up systems. Many data centres continued to operate thanks to uninterruptible power supplies, but it also revealed facilities with limitations that were not foreseen.

This episode has served as a wake-up call: it is not enough to have an emergency system.
