Inpro’s solution<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, we installed a Tankalert GSM device for each diesel tank with its corresponding Ultrasonic Probe in each city or town where they have a tank. These devices were connected to our Inpro Cloud platform, where all the information about the diesel reserve level of the tanks is recorded.<\/p>\n

Our Inpro Cloud platform monitors in real time, sends data to our platform once a day and provides a map<\/strong> on which you can see the exact location and level of each sensor in the tanks. If the diesel level of a tank is running low, a red “emoticon” sign appears on the map, while if the tank is full, the “emoticon” of the tank is green. However, our platform also has a “dashboard” section where the levels of each tank are specifically detailed.<\/p>\n

    Ol\u00edudreifing is the largest distributor of liquid fuels in Iceland, operating 17 storage facilities and transporting more than 70% of the fuel used in the country. Its core business is the distribution and inventory management of liquid fuels, sales and servicing of fuel equipment.<\/p>\n

    This Icelandic fuel distribution company asked us to track the external consumption of their customers’ fluid reserves throughout the country. They required not only to monitor the status, but also to analyse the consumption to forecast the overall demand with their suppliers. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Inpro’s solution<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    In this project, GSM tankalert + Ultrasonic Probe equipment was installed in the tanks and connected to our IoT platform Inpro Cloud to collect information about the monitoring and control of this product.<\/p>\n

    The Inpro Cloud platform in addition to viewing the location of the sensors installed in the tanks on the map of Iceland, also gives the option to view them on a map or by viewing a list.<\/p>\n
