It is framed within the “Vision 2030” initiative of the Saudi government and has become known as “a model for tomorrow in which humanity progresses without compromising the health of the planet”.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The city will be completely pedestrian \u2013 it is intended that it will not accommodate a single car within its 170 kilometers of extension \u2013 will have services such as schools, health centers and green spaces, and will be powered by 100% renewable energy, such as <\/span>HVO<\/span><\/a> (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), providing residents with pollution-free, healthier and more sustainable environments.
