Project Requirements:
The client requested a fuel system package to carry out effective monitoring and control from 2 fuel storage tanks to backup power generators, providing communication with a central BMS management system.
Inpro Solution:
An anti-siphon motorized valve, a double pump ring-type (RL) transfer skid, control of twelve daily tanks with their respective safety systems, including a return pump, and two fuel meters to monitor and record the amount of diesel sent to the generators.
All the equipment is controlled by a single PLC, which collects instrumentation signals from the daily tank area through a second CAG+ panel.
Equipment:
- Main tank control: EDM-40 probe
- Leak detection: OWU for Oil and Water
- Pump system:
- 1 x double group RL 9 GE 10,500 l/h
- 1 x SAFA preventive fuel filtration system
- 1 x CAG+ fuel transfer panel control system
- 1 x CAG+ fuel monitoring panel for 12 daily tanks
- SMMR level switches with overfill protection
- Flow meter with MGI 250 pulse emitter
- Iron 50 return pumps
